Eye Cancer: Things to Know

Image
Cancer of the eye is rare. It damages eyelid by binding of muscles, skin and nerves. When the tumor starts inside the eyeball it is known intraocular cancer. The common intraocular cancers are melanoma and lymphoma. In children, the common eye cancer is retinoblastoma, which is the cancer of the cells of the retina. Cancer cells can spread from eye to other parts of the body when cancer antigen cells begin to grow out of control. Treatment for eye cancer varies- they can be treated surgically, through radiation therapy, freezing/ heat therapy, or laser therapy.  The eye has 3 major parts: the eyeball, the orbit, and the adnexal structures. Parts of the eye including the conjunctiva, anterior chamber, cornea, lens, iris, ciliary body, orbit, optic nerve, retina and sclera.                                         Eyeball The main part of the eye is the eyeball...

Bladder cancer

Image
Bladder cancer is a cancer that forms in tissues of the bladder. Most bladder cancers are transitional cell carcinomas (cancer that begins in cells that normally make up the inner lining of the bladder). Other types include squamous cell carcinoma or adenocarcinoma, which develop in the inner lining of the bladder. Bladder cancer forms in urinary bladder, the muscular sac that stores urine. This balloon-shaped tissue is sited in your pelvis. Urine made by the kidneys drives into your bladder for storage. The bladder covers of several layers, containing a muscular wall. The muscle eases to allow the bladder to fill with urine, and contracts to sanction urination. Cancer is a disease in which anomalous cells grow out of control. Cancer cells can form tumor masses and may attack other nearby tissues.                              ...

Cancer Biomarkers

Image
A cancer biomarker mentions to a material or process that is indicative of the attendance of cancer in the body. A biomarker may be a molecule secreted by a tumor or a precise reaction of the body to the presence of cancer. Biological fragment convert in blood, other body fluids, or tissues that is a sign of a normal or abnormal process, or of a state or disease. A biomarker may be used to see how well the body proceeds to a action for a disease or condition. One of the most well-known cancer biomarkers is Prostate-specific antigen, or PSA, and higher levels of PSA in men tend to signal for prostate cancer. Actually, cancer biomarkers are more than just a signal of the disease, and have many roles in the competition against cancer. Nano Medicine with Cancer

Cancer is a type of disease which has abnormal growth of cells and has the capacity to invade or spread the cancer cell into other parts of body and form a subset of  neoplasm . Neoplasm is malignant tumor have the group of cell that have unregulated growth and form mass of lumps not able to spread into the other parts of body. Caner suffered person have very symbols and symptoms like abnormal weight loss, prolonged cough, lumps, unexplained bleeding. Local symptoms of cancer may show ulceration at particular site. Cancer starts to block the particular area and slightly fails the working of that area. Many types of cancer will occur in the human body, e.g.; Lung cancer, Breast cancer, Prostate cancer, leukemia, etc. Nanotechnology is the creation and operation of materials, devices, and systems through the control of matter on the nanometer-length scale, i.e. at the level of atoms, molecules, and supra molecular arrangements. These technologies have...

Treatments of Oral Cancer

Image
Treatments of Oral Cancer Treatment depends on the location and stage of the cancer, and the patient's general health and personal preferences. A combination of treatments may be necessary. Surgery Surgical removal of the tumor involves charismatic out the tumor and a margin of well tissue around it. A small tumor will require minor surgery, but for larger tumors, surgery may contain reducing some of the tongue or the jawbone. If the cancer has feast to the lymph nodes in the neck, the cancerous lymph nodes and associated tissue in the neck will be surgically removed. If surgery alluringly changes the exterior of the face, or the patient's skill to talk, eat, or both, reconstructive surgery may be needed. This involves using transplanted grafts of skin, muscle, or bone from other parts of the body.
